Photographed during a month-long journey through California in 2015, this image captures the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall by Frank Gehry. While living out of a camper van and exploring the state’s architectural landmarks, I spent time studying the hall’s sweeping stainless steel forms in shifting light.
A lone figure walking past the facade offers a striking sense of scale, emphasizing the building’s monumental presence and sculptural power. Completed in 2003, the concert hall remains one of Gehry’s most celebrated works, revered for both its dynamic exterior and world-class acoustics.
