Paris to Hollywood, Denver Art Museum 2021
Denver, CO
Paris to Hollywood was a landmark exhibition at the Denver Art Museum that explored the creative partnership and cultural influence of Véronique and Gregory Peck. Presented in 2021, it brought together garments, sketches, personal artifacts, and photographs that traced their journey from Paris to the heart of Hollywood.
The exhibition was designed by Sort Studio, whose work shaped the entire visitor experience. Their use of sculptural forms, intentional lighting, and thoughtful spatial transitions created an environment that highlighted both the craftsmanship and cinematic spirit of the pieces on display.
I was commissioned to photograph the exhibition, and my goal was to document the clarity and atmosphere of Sort Studio’s design while honoring the details of the garments and objects. Through high-contrast, architectural compositions, I worked to capture the interplay of light, geometry, and space, creating a visual record that reflects the spirit of the exhibition and the elegance of its design.
