5050 Syracuse Street (50 Fifty DTC), Denver Tech Center
This twelve story Class A office tower, designed by Clutch Design Studio, stands out in the Denver Tech Center for its bold geometry and fluid architectural expression. Completed in 2018 after construction began in 2016, the building features a sleek glass facade with cascading granite and aluminum panels inspired by the movement of water—specifically, the way it flows off the side of a boat. That detail nods to the developer’s love of boating and adds a personal narrative to the building’s form.
5050 Syracuse has received multiple design honors, including LEED Gold certification, a Mayor’s Design Award, an AIA Award of Distinction, and the Golden Nugget Award. I’ve had a long and rewarding working relationship with Clutch Design Studio, and this project was a powerful opportunity to help visually express their design vision through photography.
