Canvas Homes, Whittier (Denver, CO)
Shot in collaboration with the real estate team, developer, and architect, this series thoughtfully documents a clean, modern urban infill project designed by Christian Butler (Studio Limited) alongside Michael P. Johnson. Located in Denver’s historic Whittier neighborhood, the seven-home "Canvas" series was constructed around 2018, with all units completed and sold shortly thereafter.
These homes have been praised for their minimalist architecture, thoughtful use of light, and integration of private outdoor spaces—such as sunken courtyards—even in compact urban lots .
I was commissioned by the real estate team at Fantastic Frank, led by Jorgen Jensen, along with developer Nathan Beal and architect Christian Butler, to visually bring this project to life—capturing the harmony of form, finish, and functionality that defines the Canvas Homes.
