Clyfford Still Museum, Denver, CO - Photographed 2017
In 2017, I photographed the Clyfford Still Museum in Denver, focusing on a single axial composition that emphasizes the building’s sculptural mass and material restraint. Designed by Allied Works Architecture and completed in 2011, the museum is a study in cast-in-place concrete - quiet, weighty, and deeply textured.
The composition highlights the structure’s monolithic presence and subtle rhythm, echoing the museum’s mission to reflect Still’s powerful and uncompromising artistic legacy. This image is a meditation on mass, light, and the discipline of form.
