Mission Ballroom, Denver, CO
Commissioned by Works Progress Architecture, I documented the Mission Ballroom, a sleek, flexible concert venue in Denver’s RiNo Arts District. Construction began in April 2018 and was completed in July 2019, with the grand opening held on August 7, 2019 .
Inspired by venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Brooklyn Steel, and The Anthem, Mission Ballroom was conceived as a state‑of‑the‑art music hall with dynamic capacity—transforming from 2,200 to nearly 4,000 guests while ensuring excellent sightlines and acoustics . A movable stage, tiered bowl seating, 900‑pound disco ball, and murals by local artists give the venue a distinct identity .
Purpose-built for live music and special events, it anchors the 14‑acre North Wynkoop mixed-use development and serves as Denver’s most versatile mid-size venue .
